How to View the Trial Balance

The Trial Balance lists every account with its debit and credit totals — useful for bookkeeping checks.

1. Open Reports. Click Reports in the top menu, then Trial Balance.
2. Set a Start Date and End Date. Choose the period to check.
3. Review the totals. Debits and credits should balance — this report is mainly useful if you or your accountant is reconciling the books.
